Body Suspension, at the most basic level, is the act of hanging the human body from hooks or other devices which are pierced through the skin. This community of people has proven itself to be an incredibly caring, dedicated group of individuals unlike any other, brought together by a common passion. The last several years have seen leaps in the progress in education, safety, and the building of a community. Help us to continue that growth by supporting the International Suspension Community's goal of unification.
The International Suspension Alliance (ISA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the unification of the body suspension community through research, education, outreach, and the dissemination of information pertaining to the safe practice of human suspension to practitioners, the general public, and health care professionals.
We, as a community, are at a point of incredible growth and advancement. Although wonderful, that growth means that the members of this community have the difficult task of protecting and holding together what has been built. It can't be done alone or by any one person. We must come together, put differences aside, and work toward the common goal of the preservation and advancement of this amazing community we are a part of.
You have the ability to make a difference. The founding of the ISA has cost over $4000 in legal fees with much more to come, and the organization is still in the stages of being formed. We are working towards a transparent system of finances which allows those who contribute to see exactly where any donations received will go. When you donate, in any amount, it takes your community one step closer to having an organization to come together under; one without countries, boarders, or barriers between us. It gives us a unified voice in the world and a chance for a future that continues to improve.
Please help us to see a positive change. Donate, share, promote, and volunteer to help get this project off the ground.
